delicious fiberglass chocolate just like grandma used to make

  2. HelloMyNameABorat_

Looks like a poorly executed take on Dubai chocolate.

    I’d still try it though

  3. Apostle25

Overpriced dyed white chocolate with some crap in it. People are really cashing in on Dubai chocolate variations it seems.

  4. Mudpuppy_Moon

That’s kind of a deal cause it was 24.99 at Wally’s

  5. astronomicalGoat

Now you too can experience what it’s like to eat chocolate that was poured over a slab of asbestos for only $12.99!

  6. StarsEatMyCrown

ngl, I want it. But no way would I pay 12.99 for it. Maybe 3.99.

IIRC, angel hair is basically a western, gentrified name for dragons beard/turkish floss, which is made by looping sugar strands back and forth until you get 1000 strands. It’s a type of floss, basically.

Why it’s paired with pistachio cream I don’t know.

Either way, that texture is gonna be fucking gack.

Edit: [found it on Amazon. it’s cotton candy in chocolate.](https://a.co/d/7cDASLU)

  8. wizardrous

I don’t see how they think cotton candy is gonna be an interesting texture in a chocolate bar.

  9. StupidMario64

If it wasnt 13$, id probably try it. Would have to be less than 6$ though.

I’ve tried that brand’s dubai pistachio, and the actual chocolate tastes so cheap and low quality 💀 even I who is willing to devour cheap chocolate, but this was not it. They have a lot of that in stock in my local grocery store they have been on sale for months

  11. fitty50two2

That does not look appetizing, looks like cat hair

  12. Does anyone know if there is anything about this or the other Dubai style chocolates that comes close to justifying the price? Are people really just paying a stupid amount for chocolate due to some online trend?

  13. No_Push_8249

If it doesn’t melt the second it hits your tongue I think it would be kind of nauseating. I mean I’m sure that’s the point of it, to dissolve like spun sugar, but I still can’t help picturing a mouthful of shredded cotton balls mixed with chocolate and it’s going through me a little bit, thinking about that texture

  14. buburocks

Dubai chocolate bullshit. I hate pistachio and the texture looks terrifying

  15. FriendshipLeft7051

Looks like fake chocolate filled with asbestos fibers.

  16. brandedblade

It’s apparently what the store near me replaced their Lindt Dubai Chocolate with.

  17. Ill-Requirement-8192

I’d buy one, if for nothing other than shits and giggles.

  18. Grinsekatzer

It’s a money printer, it works with stupidity.

  19. Amish_Juggalo469

Trying to make another “foreign chocolate ” go viral.

  20. Embarrassed-Safe6184

From what I’ve heard, this captures Dubai perfectly. Gaudy, expensive, and tasteless.

  21. rexcasei

    > What is this

It’s **Ruby chocolate** filled with pistachio cream & cotton candy

  22. A waste of money. Might as well throw $12.99 out the window on the highway.

  23. Mulholland_art

Tbh if you are a white chocolate fan it’s alright. Tastes like the white chocolate strawberry Lindt balls with pistachio aftertaste. The fairy floss is pretty unnecessary as it made me feel like eating chocolate that fell onto nanas cat-hair infused carpet, but the taste of it didn’t detract from the experience.
    7/10

  24. wookiesack22

Cotton candy is trash. Have you ever had Cotton candy made with a jolly rancher? It actually has flavor.

  25. dr-satan85

In the uk it was £4.50 and it was exactly what you would expect, cheap chocolate with extra sugar! Not gross, by any means, but not worth the price, just very sweet, very bland chocolate.

  26. CharonDusk

    Garbage, is what it is.

I got some out of morbid curiosity (Granted, it was £4,50, which is like $6) and nearly broke a tooth on it, the stuff (I am not calling it candyfloss because it fucking wasn’t) inside had basically turned to rock because it had melted together, and even the bit I COULD eat just tasted like cheap chocolate and sugar.

At least most of the dubai chocolate stuff I’d had so far has actually been decent, if not good, but this? In the bin is where it belongs.

  27. RedOceanofthewest

It’s the pistachio crème that ups the price.

  28. MightyClimber

Call me autistic but hairy food sounds like a textual nightmare.

  29. BestAcanthisitta6379

It’s spun sugar (aka cotton candy or any variety of names all over the world) with nuts covered in chocolate .

While I wouldn’t eat it (too sweet of a combo) it isn’t stupid. It’s all candy.

Well, maybe the price is stupid but conceptually, it’s fine

  30. CarelessTelevision86

So we’re combining seasonal obsessions now? What’s next, putting a pumpkin spice drizzle on top?

  31. ActuallyAlexander

Looks like a sandwich I forgot in the back of the fridge

  32. Khristafer

It’d be worth it if it weren’t factory made. Tbf, the components are complicated, but if you’re churning it out in a factory, it’s not nearly as difficult, I’m sure.

  33. roadfood

I don’t know, and at $12.99 I will never find out.

  34. Ok_Stick8615

    Delicious chocolate and fiberglass stuffing
